Sendak & Jonez on Collaboration

It resonates through this video that there is a tremendous amount of mutual respect between Author/Illustrator Maurice Sendak & Director Spike Jonez. Although they are generations apart they seem to be on the same creative page, driven by their own vision as it applies to their medium of choice.

Addatweet is a great little plug-in that lets you add your 2 cents to any page on the web. This is particularly helpful on sites such as CNN that have disabled comments from many of its articles, pages and videos. Using Twitter authentication, Addatweet has made freedom of speech a little bit easier on the web.

Archdaily.com covered an interesting installation done in Talca, Chile titled “Covered in Umbrellas”. The project was executed by a team of 36 students from The Workshop Projects. Despite a handful of significant obstacles, the team managed to pull off the project in 5 weeks.

The DSLR Camera was once dedicated solely to capturing images but has since evolved into a favorite tool for indy filmmakers. DSLR Camera’s allow a level of flexibility that would be otherwise unattainable for the average film student or enthusiast and the results are stunning.
