These photographs of albatross chicks were made just a few weeks ago on Midway Atoll, a tiny stretch of sand and coral near the middle of the North Pacific. The nesting babies are fed bellies-full of plastic by their parents, who soar out over the vast polluted ocean collecting what looks to them like food to bring back to their young…

Big Sur Bliss - Chris Burkhard

Chris Burkard is an up and coming surf photographer who has been quickly climbing the ranks. Now a senior staff photographer for surfline.com, Chris is quickly amassing a vast and well-traveled portfolio. I was lucky enough to receive a Burkhard print in the early days (2 years ago) as a gift. Now I can sit back and watch this young photographer’s career grow.
